Awards Show from My Favorite Chair!!

Well since mom has been sniffling and blowing her nose, she forgot to help me with the awards show yesterday! This weeks award if from none other than The Purple Hatter! And according to the Purple hatter here are the rules:

THERE IS ONLY ONE RULE FOR THE THE WHITE ELEPHANT AWARD……

THIS AWARD IS FOR ALL MY FRIENDS AND FOR ALL THAT COME TO THIS BLOG. IT IS FREE FOR YOU ALL TO HAND OUT!

How did you sleep Roscoe?

 The Queen knew at once that he must be a real prince when he had felt the pea through twenty mattresses and twenty feather beds. Nobody but a real prince could have such a delicate skin.

 P.S.  Mom says that little Bug got adopted by a lady who works at the V*E*T!

Well Mom came on Thursday night with this!

She said someone called her because he had been seen in an industrial area for about a week.  The lady who called he said that she feeds the feral cats there and he had been hanging around.  Well he was pretty gross and smelled awful!!  Mom made him take 2 baths in a row, we don’t think he ws very happy about it either.  But then he looked like this!

Mom took him to the V*E*T and they did a bunch of tests.  It seems that he is almost completely blind, sees shadows and has some major neurological problems.  Has trouble eating, can only lap soft food,  walks funny like he is drunk, spins and flops over.  He seems to have control of his bladder.  So right now he is on antibiotics and living with us.  He mainly stays in my big crate with a bed and water and potty pads.  Unless moms home and then he sits on her lap, and she takes him in the back yard so he can wander and smell things.  After a couple days he is less nervous and loves momma. 

But she doesn’t think he can stay, and the V*E*T said maybe he should go to the rainbow bridge.   But we got some good news yesterday, that maybe one of the ladies who works for th V*E*T who met him might take him to live with her and see how he does.  She can bring him to work with her.  He is only 6 pounds!!!  Momma takes him back on Wednesday to see if the antibiotics might have helped.   She is calling him Bug since he is so small has big eyes and walks funny like a bug!

Someone dumped him where he was living, since in his condition he probably couldn’t have traveled very far and there are no house for miles around there. Also we are not sure what caused the problems, could be trauma from being thrown from a car, untreated distemper which  untreated long-term can cause neurological problems, a genetic condition or infection.

Now on the Sunday awards show just like Dennis’s!!

P.S. Mom says she apologizes for not getting the Halloween Contest awards and donations done, but she has been busy and promises to do it next weekend. 

Well the Halloween contest was great. Again many Congratulations to all the contestants and the winners, Albert E. Hairless, Sadie Mae and Fionna! Don’t forget the Judges for their hard work, Mango, Dennis and Dozer.  The winners can put this award on their website desgined by none other than the Purple Hatter (who has lots of scary Halloween videos on his site).

All the winners need to email us their snail mail address for prize delivery, and the judges and winners need to email us their favorite dog or cat rescue, a donation will be made to each one as a thank you for participating!  And if you haven’t checked out all the brilliant costumes and Judges comments scroll down for more fun!!

We also received the Mid West Furry Friends Blog of the Year award from our good friend Maggie Mae!  We are very honored to receive this and thank Maggie Mae very much!!

Well that’s a wrap.  We are lucky no smurfs so up since Dennis kicked them off his show, except that  little smurfette who is up to no good I am sure.

Happy Hallloween!!! So to get you all in the mood for tonights goblins and ghosts we have the judges commments and winners for each of the 3 categories!  Each Judge worked hard and did their own anylsis of all the entries! 

The winners will recieve a custom package of special stuff direct form California, and as a special added treat, a donation will be made to each of the winners favorite rescue organizations!  Also to thank the Judges for all their hard work a donation will be made to their favorite charities too!
