Snoozies and sharing the sun spot.
A long time ago before I was born mom used to have pet rats, can you believe it! We also want to wish our good friend Tucker, Dennis the Viszla’s brother a VERY HAPPY 14th BIRTHDAY! We have been cyber friends with them since we started blogging a long time ago.
Trick or Treat!
Hello furends! I know I have been away for a while, but I couldn’t forget to remind everyone about Pit Bull Awareness Day! Today is a day of appreciation and education designed to change perceptions and stereotypes about pit bulls and their responsible owners.
We want to make everyone aware of how Pit Bulls can live with other dogs and cats too!
We love the dog parky and traveling there with my dog walker and my other furry friends!
You can kind of see my new Sirius Republic collar!! Its very pretty!
In honor of my special day mom and I did some yoga, went on an extra long walkies and she brought me a new Kong! What did you do for Pit Bull Awareness day??
This morning when I checked on my Facebook page I was in complete shock when I read of Mango’s passing. Fighting the flood of tears, I immediately looked around to figure what had happened, and found Mango Momma’s post and several tributes had already been put up.
Mango will be missed in the blog world, he is leaving a relentlessly huge hole in our hearts and in the blog world. We started blogging about the same time, and he was one of our first friends. Mango taught us lessons, how to dance, made us laugh and blush with his lipstick!, made us say “GROSS!” and made us now, cry. He was Mango, and brought so many of us together with his Mango Minister every year. I can’t look at a mango anymore and not think of Mango. He is etched in our memory and in our hearts.
We are sending our most heartfelt love and condolences to Mango Momma, The Master and Pea.
We also want to reach our paws and arms from the west coast to the east coast and send love and hugs to Mango Momma especially. She was the perfect Dog Mom, and she is is missing him the most.
When I realize what my tears are about, why I am crying for Mango, I realize I am crying for Nancy. Who is really missing that Relentlessly Huge bottom and slobbers.
We love you Mango Momma.

Mouse and I on our walkies.
In other news, my button came off last week, and I get my stiches out of my ear owie on Friday. Also mom found a flea on me yesterday and I thought she was going to freak out! She was sure none of us had any fleas.
Well last night moms was hugging and kissing me and tucking me in and suddenly she noticed that my ear had an owie!
Just when I thought it was bed time she starts spazing out! Looking at my ear, turning the lights on, putting medicine on it. Gee.
See how its all puffed up? Well this morning mom decided that I needed to go to the VET right away, she wasn’t sure if I had been bit by something or what might have happened. So we went to the VET and she talked to the Doc, he said that I had a Hematoma, and that it needed to be drained. Apparently its like a bruise but the blood vessel fills up the space, he was worried if we didn’t drain it that my whole ear would get puffy like this and fill up then it might be bad. Well it was bad anyway cuz mom left and when she came to pick me up I looked like this!
Apparently they have to “button” my ear to the top of my head so when I shake my head it does’t make my ear worse by flopping around! We are not sure how this hematoma thing happened, but I think that when Roscoe and I were playing bitey face Roscoe accidentally bitied my ear! The next picture is a little gross, but don’t worry I have pain medication and am feeling better and sleeping. It shows my button better.
Mom made this picture smaller so you wouldn’t get to grossed out. Has anyone out there even had to have a button?
