As you can see here I am taking a walk, and its time for some cheese. Oh, uh, I mean its time for a break, so I thought I would give you one of my big smiles to show you what a fun time I am having. But I think it would be more fun with some cheese.

You may remember back on Christmas Day that sprocket got the best present of all! A giant stuffed bone. Well Roscoe and I were very jealous, but mom was adament that we could not play with it because she was sure that it was an exploding stuffie and only Sprocket had a bullet proof vest! Well Roscoe had a really good idea. While Sprocket was taking a nap, we would steal, uh, borrow his bullet proof vest so that we could play with the stuffie!
Genius! I really don’t know why Hollywood has not picked him up for one of their movies. He is so smart! Since it was Roscoe’s’ great idea I let him try on the vest first, to see how it looked and if it fit!
Well it fit perfectly and Roscoe looked quite dapper, although as he said it really is not him. He would prefer one in a nice Hawaiian print, or perhaps leather? So Since he was well protected with the vest he got to play with the bone first.
And just as the bone started to explode, mom walked in and that was the end of the explosion. I think if I had proper protective gear I might have been able to see a little more action. Oh well.
My good friend River the beagle has given me a lovely award! Thank you River, its kind of like a valentine and an award with the hearts and all! I would like to pass this lovely award on to my friends who are chickens Peepers and Cluckers. Now I know that you tink I may just be giving this award to them becuase they are my favorite food, but I no longer eat chicken strips! So there! Also they are having baby eggs now and deserve an award.
Next I would like to thank Dennis the Vizsla dog. I got this very cool lemonade stand award from Dennis last month, and neglected to put it on my blog! For shame! So I am now apologzing to Dennis and also thanking him for this extra special award that makes us all go out an want to drink some lemonade. As you can see Dennis the master of diusguises is posing with his very cool lemonade stand!
Now I will pass this lemonade award to my good friends the Canine Mafiosos also know as the Dog Fathers. So congratulations to Bruno, Gino, Vinnie and Carmela. I would also like to give this award to Dannan the little brown dog so that she will feel like its time for summer and to drink lemonade, since its very cold and snowy at her house right now!
Well its time to sign off and go and see what mom is doing in the kitchen, I think she might be cooking.
I enjoy sitting in one of my many beds by the window during the day when mom is not at home to watch the world go by! There are people walking other dogs, and squirrels that like to hang out in the front yard, and the meter reader who comes and reads a meter, that one only happens once a month and it is quite exciting. Roscoe also like to watch the outside happenings but he usually sits up on a footstool because he is so short.
In any case some times the day gets long and I get tired of sitting so I need to lay down. Well this is when the problem occurs. As you can see I clearly do not fit into this bed, I hang out and it is quite uncomforatble. Why don’t I get up on the chair chair which is very comfortable and my favorite other place you might ask. Well just look at this post and you can see that it also is not quite the right size.
As you may know my friend Dozer has had this problem for some time, and I have only recently identified my bed dilemma. I clearly think that the only way to resolve this problem quickly and efficiently is to allow me to sleep on the couch couch where I am not allowed!
Momma and her baby
A couple of weeks before Christmas one of mom friends found a homeless pregnant mother wandering the streets, cold and hungry with no place to go she offered to help. She took her in and fed her and gave her a warm place to sleep, that was even nicer than a manger! She took her to the doctor too make sure she was ok too. A couple days later she gave birth to 9 babies. Fortunately all the babies made it, one was very small and had to stay in an incubator and get special food for a couple of weeks. Mom went to visit and came home smelling like
puppies. Pauly, the momma, is a very good momma, and already has a home once her puppies are all weaned and some of the puppies even already have furever homes, but there are still some that need homes. So if you know someone who is willing to make a 10-15 year commitment and needs a new friend and lives in the Los Angeles area please e-mail me or leave a comment.
