Working in the Garden

Well mom has decided to do some work in the backyard to fix it up.  Well what does that mean?  It means that she will be planting some grass of which I am sampling here.

Nom nom nom nom.... barf!

And also laying pavers to make a nice wide walkway where we can lay on our Kunandra beds, and planting some drought tolerant plants. I hope they are pee tolerant also.  She also had a big trellis taken away that had kinda fallen over from a big tree branch breaking off an falling on it in a wind storm.  Here is the big vine that was left. I think Roscoe might be using it as a hiding place… Roscoe you in there?

Hey! Thats my butt!

We will be giving you updates on our new backyard as they develop. Its taking mom a long time to get this stuff done, her goal is to finish by mid June.  So don’t hold your breath!

Last weekend mom abandoned us and went to a training with a group called Noahs Wish.  They rescue and shelter animals in disasters.  They have helped in many disasters  including Hurricane Katrina and the big fires in Sandy Eggo, ops San Diego, last year.  She learned all about animal rescue and sheltering but not just for dogs and cats!  She got to work with horses, chickens, baby cows and goats!  Boy did she have some funny smells on her after 2 days camping out with all those critters!  She is now trained to deploy in case of need, and is certified in animal CPR and first aid.  Here are some of her new friends!

An Imposter!

Well I have been very busy reseaching this “DaisyDog” phenomenon!  I wanted mom to buy the DaisyDog sticker for her car and all the other stuff available on the web so people would know all about me!  But I started to get suspicious when I saw this!  I do  not have a jeweled collar!  Plus I did not give anyone permission to sell my name on some cheezey site on the web! If I developed a clothing line I would prefer it be sold at Nordstroms!

Upon further investigation I discovered that this is also a Daisy dog.

You are not pink or a pit bull, WHAT?

You are not pink or a pit bull, WHAT?

This discovery and investigation took me to some lady in Michigan named Jennifer breeds dogs she calls Daisy Dogs! What!  I thought I was the one, the only the ORIGINAL Daisy Dog, a Pretty Pink Pit Bull!   But no!

We are Daisy Dogs!!!

We are Daisy Dogs!!!

I'm a Daisy Dog and YOU'Re not!

I feel like Dennis when all the Teddy Ruxpins came to visit him……
