Well guess who can to visit our fron yard this morning to eat the acorns form the oak tree!
Mom put me in the bathroom so she could take pictures without scaring them, They stayed until Roscoe started barking then went across the street. We get lots of deer here, but only once before did they come in the front yard! mom says its our fault becuase we like to bark at them!
Those bambis were really close. Like they could have totally invaded your house and you were in lockdown?
We get bambis in the yard next door sometimes and I yell at them, but they aren’t too scared of me.

Bambie’s are peaceful pups. They just want to eat, and sometimes they eat what you don’t want them to, like your prize Dahlias or your apples.
They won’t hurt you.

Stella
Before Mom had me, she said she woke up one morning and found deer at the front door on the front porch!
Now they usually hang out in the side yard on the outside of the fence. They aren’t very scared of us which I think is weird. Mom says they have lived around Grandmom and Granddad’s dogs for so long nothing phases them

Thats no fun! Mom should have let you out to play with them. Deer make awesome playmates!
Wow, look how close they came. We have seen them run through the space between our yard and our neighbor’s but never that close. They are beautiful creatures. Sadly there is going to be a massive culling of them in a local park where there are way too many deer. Too bad they all don’t just run away to a wider open space.
We also see deer a lot when we walk the trails here but they run away very quickly when they hear us coming.
Woos and happy weekend, the OP Pack
COOL! I hope your hip is feeling better….how awful to be hobbling around. 😦

PeeEssWoo: I’ve had some khome khlose to the yard – and Mom thinks that is what I’m looking at/fur when I sit out at night and just STARE into the yard!
Very cool! My mom and dad feed their little herd — they live in the country with woods behind and enjoy watching the deer!
