Hi friends. I just wanted you all to know tomorrow I am going to have another surgery to remove some little spots on my belly. Mom says they are little skin cancers. This is my 3rd surgery over the last few years to have some of these pesky spot removed. Mom says thats why I am not allowed to sun bathe anymore with out something called SPF50! She also mentioned the cone again, I hope she means ice cream cone. So remember all you white doggies to wear SPF50 when you go out in the sun!
Now back to our regularly scheduled nap time!
We hope your surgery goes well. Feel better!

Sorry to hear this….Are white dogs more prone to sun damage, or does it just show up on them more easily? What type of sunscreen do you use?
Good luck, Daisy, with your surgeries. You really do have very light pink skin. And that sun can be so nasty. Hope all goes well.

Hey Daisy – I just left a comment for you but I think it might have gone into Spam!
I’ll try and paste it here again:
Oh Daisy – I’m so sorry to hear about your skin nasties! But good thing that they’re still small, right, and can be cut out! I hope the surgery goes smoothly and you recover quickly!
Yeah – we know all about SPF50 in our house. Not because I’m a white doggie – but because I’m a Chinese breed of human! 😉 You know all the Chinese humans are terrified of the sun. I think Hsin-Yi would buy soap with SPF if she could! 😉 She always wears cream with at least SPF15 in it – so she is protected ALL THE TIME – and if she ever actually goes out of the house in the daytime, she always puts a proper sunscreen ON TOP of that, with at least SPF30. Most Western people laugh at her and think she’s crazy – but then they also always comment on how young she looks. Well, you know the best anti-ageing cream in the world? SUNSCREEN!! 😀

Daisy, we’re thinking of you! We hope your surgery is very successful.
Today I noticed Star’s belly is getting very mottled. I’m going to put sunscreen on her from now on!
Daisy, you do have very pale skin. I read somewhere that lots of animals can get sunburn, including pigs and sometimes they need suncream. Hope the surgery goes well and you receive a real ice cream cone!
Daisy Dear – you take good care of yourself, and enjoy your ice cream cone. I’m sure that’s what mom meant… I think. But seriously, all will be well. And don’t give mom trouble when she wants you to wear the sunscreen. It’s for your own good. Hugs and kisses and feel well, honey!
hello daisy its dennis the vizsla dog hay i wish yoo a kwik recuvery and lots of ice kreem kones!!! and hmm maybe this is why mama always wants to shoo me inside wen i try to sunbathe she sez i do not hav the furs for it like my sister trixie duz!!! ok bye
Hi Daisy! How did your operation go? Did all those sun spots go away? Did you get lots of ice cream in your ice cream cones? If you use sunscreen, do you have to take a bath (cuz I’d prolly rather just stay inside if that’s the case).
Hope you’re feeling all better, beautiful furend!

Mayzie
Oh dear, we do hope you have an easy surgery and recover in no time. Um..good luck with the cone. I have a bad feeling it is not the sweet, sugary kind. Wonder if I need to wear sunscreen? My Boston T. colors are black with big white patches, so I’m not sure.
