Sunday Awards Show – Just like Dennis’s but with out the annoying Smurf!

Well today we don’t have any awards but,  we have a very special button that  is even better than an award and I want everyone who reads this blog to put it up please!  It was made by of course our friend the Purple Hatter!  You should link the button to http://www.noahswish.org/  or put a link to Noahs Wish near the button.

This is the organization that mom volunteers with. She was deployed with the recent Morris fire and you can read about it here and see pictures here.  The reason we think this is important is because lots of people don’t know about this organization.  They work off donations and volunteers.  They are like the Red Cross for animals, here is a little history:

Noah’s Wish came into existence in 2002, not to duplicate existing efforts to help animals during disasters, but to expand on what was already in place. Too often, efforts to help animals during life threatening situations have been gravely inadequate. We recognize that animals need and deserve an organized, consistent and professionally managed national disaster relief program. They will, otherwise, continue to pay for human indifference with their lives. How animals are managed during disasters is to implement well thought out, field tested policies and procedures that are practiced in all disasters. Relief efforts for people are managed this way and we feel they should be for animals too.

So here is the very cool button!  And encourage everyone to learn about the organization and give to them if and when you can!!!

 If you haven’t figured out why it’s called Noah’s Wish, well remember that guy who put all the animals in the ark when there was that big rain and flood for 40 days and nights?

Paw it Forward

Thanks to my good friends Abby Jack and Zeva over at the JAZ Pack I got a “Paw it Forward” package.  I will tell you how you can get one too after I tell you all about my great package!

When my package arrived, mom would not let me open it she said I needed some help. So I waited and waited.

Hurry up Mom, lets open the package!!

Well she was such a slow poke I decided to take matters into my own hands, I mean paws.

 

Hmmm maybe I need opposable thumbs for this...

 

I know I saw this on TV lets see if it works!

Wow I guess I can do magic too!  I will have to let Dennis and Dozer and Mango and,  oops back to Paw if Forward!

 

Well look at all this cool stuff from my friends Abby, Jack and Zeva. Wow there is something for everyone.  Mom said I had to share.

So I gave the little duck to the kittens, uh they are looking more like cats these days, and the green froggies to Roscoe.  And I kept all the rest for me!

Sunday Awards and Meme Show – Just like Dennis’s!

Well this weeks awards show is all about Princess’s!  Yes thats right!  My new friend Olive  gave me a great Island Princess Award!  There are a few rules for this award.  First I have to give this award to five of my Friends.  Well since it is a Princess award, I better give it to some girls! 

• Princess the Pit Bull who is a real Princess and doesn’t need an award to tell her!
• Addie and Lucie and Hailey, who are all Princess wanana bees I just know it!
• Nala who has a ridge on her back that is sort of like a crown!
• Trixiewho has to put up with Dennis and Tucker so definitely deserves to be crowned!
• Khyra who just got back from her South African adventures!

We also want to thank the Purple Hatter who makes al these cool awards for us dog bloggers!
