It is with a heavy heart and sad eyes that I learned one of my blogging friends Fred Cat has made a journey to the Rainbow Bridge. I know that Cathie and Mr. B are probably very sad, because humans get that way when their loved ones leave. Fred was the only cat that had ever e-mailed me before! And I honored him with a place on my links list, you may notice he is the only cat listed (for now). I would highly recommend going and reading some of the the Tails of FredCat the Famous, and while you are there make sure you say hello to Cathie and Mr. B.

My Hero

Hero’s come in all shapes and sizes. Some days my hero is Mom cuz she plays ball with me and gives me treats, some days it is Rachael cuz she brings my boyfriend to visit and takes me for walks. Today it is a tiny little Chihuahua!
Tiny Dog Saves Baby From Rattlesnake

MASONVILLE, Colo. – Zoey is a Chihuahua, but when a rattlesnake lunged at her owners’ 1-year-old grandson, she was a real bulldog.
Booker West was splashing his hands in a birdbath in his grandparents’ northern Colorado back yard when the snake slithered up to the toddler, rattled and struck. Five-pound Zoey jumped in the way and took the bites.
“She got in between Booker and the snake, and that’s when I heard her yipe,” said Monty Long, the boy’s grandfather.
The dog required treatment and for a time it appeared she might not survive. Now she prances about.
“These little bitty dogs, they just don’t really get credit,” Booker’s grandma Denise Long told the Loveland Daily Reporter-Herald.
I am very glad Zoey is doing fine, rattlesnake bites can be deadly. Especially for little dogs!

This article made me very sad. It happened because of some irresponsible dog owner. I have never been able to get out of my yard! Roscoe has 2 times, but he is a terrorist and has special methods for escape. He is small and not very scary looking, so most likely would not intimidate a cop.
This made me even sadder. That horrible man he teaches pit bulls how too fight! Please do not support his team, the Altalnta Falcons, or any of the sponsors that he endorses. Please, just do it for my cute dudley nose! He should be put down, not the poor helpless doggies.
Couches and Beds

I like sleeping on the couch, I can look out the window and watch the world go by. But I am not always allowed to. The bed is the same way. I am not allowed to sleep in the bed at night, I have a nice basket, in fact I have two, one in the bedroom and one n the living room. In the morning early, I jump on the bed next to mom and she lets me. The terrorists get to sleep there all night. I guess it is because they are so small. I wish I could sleep on the bed too.
