Getting a Bath

Today was the the day that I got a bath. I don’t mind getting a bath to much, it brings out my pretty pink color, and I look especially cute until I get dirty playing. Mom takes me to the bath place in town and a very nice lady named Sondra is always there. She likes pit bulls, especially pink ones! She washes my hair, and cleans my ears and clips my nails, and then gives me a treat.

Today when I was there a very, very big dog names Duke was also there. He is only 9 months old, but was still very big, he is a Mastiff. I liked him, I think he liked me too!

When I got home from getting a bath I was sleepy so I thought I might take a nap in the new chair.

Miss Moosey

I have never been lost before, at least that I can remember. Mom always makes sure that the gate is locked, and only once did I go out the front door without permission. Mom made me come back right away!

Today I read a story about a man who was lost, and his dog Miss Moosey, found him! I hope that if I ever get lost my mom can find me. I know that I would find her if she was lost because she smells nice, usually. I would be able to smell her.

…Rescue teams had been searching for Schultz since Monday but were unable to locate him until his dog, Miss Moosey, emerged from the woods Tuesday afternoon. Nancy Lyon, a member of New England K-9 Search and Rescue, gained Miss Moosey’s trust by sitting and offering food.

Lyon was able to put a leash on the dog, who started leading searchers back into the woods. Miss Moosey led them to a spot on the trail, and a K-9 with the Fish and Game Department was able to pick up Schultz’s scent from there. He was about 830 feet off the trail.…

Going back to school

All summer long we had a roommate, moms son was home from college, I guess that means he is my brother. OK so all summer long my human brother has been living with us. I like him, he plays ball with me, and gives me treats, he like to cuddle and watch TV with me. He took care of me and the terrorists when mom went away for a couple days, boy I am sure glad she came back!

Yesterday I noticed he was packing up all his clothes, and also filling boxes with his blankets. He packed all his bathrroms things and even some food out of the pantry! I overhead him talking to mom, and he is leaving tomorrow to go back to school. His school is far away and he lives there.

This makes me sad. I wonder when he will be coming home again? I hope mom pays extra good attention to me now that I am sad. Maybe I will get more treats, even though I don’t feel like eating them. *sigh*

Pink and Green

I have 2 beds. One is pink and the other one is green. They are exactly alike, except for the color. The pink one is in the bedroom and the green one is in the living room. Sometimes one of the terrorists (Roscoe) likes to sleep in my bed. I usually let him for at least a little while. I don’t know why mom just doesn’t buy him a blue bed!
